Hey, I’m Jamie. I’m 20 and I’m a recent graduate of the University of Strathclyde with a First Class Honours Degree in Computer Science. Outside of the university game, I’m a keen web developer, software developer, petrolhead and general geek. I listen to a lot of music, watch a lot of TV and films and drive around the place for no particular reason at all. I’ve written a selection of web applications and websites over time but I generally get a bit bored with them. A few months ago I started an experiment to see if switching completely to linux would work out for me, but that’s the subject of another post.

I’ve tried to get into this blogging business 2 or 3 times before, but now I’m starting again and I’m going to try and keep it going this time. I don’t have to deal with uni coursework getting in the way anymore so hopefully that will make things a little easier!

So what’s this blog going to be about? Well, anything really, but I aim to try and hit 3 main categories; tutorials on software development, car stuff and finally, general nonsense that I feel like writing about. Anyone who knows me will know that the first one might happen, the second one probably will happen and the third one unfortunately may happen!
